Actress and former Congress Member of Parliament Ramya alias Divya Spandana landed into yet another controversy. Her controversial tweet on Modi couple of days back got huge backlash in social media as well as from Congress party itself. Details as below.

Now again she made a controversial tweet in which she had taken a dig at a photo of the Prime Minister standing by the giant statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and tweeted “Is that bird dropping?”. Obviously irritated by this tweet, BJP tweeted, “Ummm no, it is the values of the Congress that are dropping.” Netizens as well as BJP supporters criticized her tweet. But what is surprising is, even her own party seems to be disapproving her tweets.

Congress leaders started saying the party did not approve of the language used by Divya Spandana against PM Modi. But unfazed by her party’s disapproval, Divya Spandana defiantly tweeted: “My views are mine. I don’t give two hoots about yours.” It is known thing that she only ramped up the Twitter presence of not just the Congress party but its chief Rahul Gandhi too. However, now her tweets are backfiring and Congress party seems to be unhappy with her tweets.
