2.0 is one of the most awaited and costliest films made on Indian cinema. Shankar is the director of this sci-fi thriller and Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson, Akshay Kumar played the lead roles. The theatrical trailer hinted that the film is Shankar’s take on the technology and the impact of using smartphones in this modern world. The major plot revolves around the character of Akshay Kumar who played the lead antagonist in 2.0.
The film starts off with Akshay Kumar’s death who dies of radiation because of using mobile phone. He then turns an evil and takes on humans who uses mobiles. Rajinikanth and Chitti fights against the evil to save humans and 2.0 also delivers a strong social message for all those who are addicted to smartphones. 2.0 happens on a serious note and has less levels of entertainment when compared to Robo.
The visual effects and the performances are said to be the major highlights of 2.0. Lyca Productions produced this big budget visual feast which is releasing all over on November 29th in 3D.
