Buoyed by the critical acclaim for her first female centric film, U Turn, reigning actress Samantha Akkineni is game for more lady oriented scripts. Reportedly, she will next team up with Nandini Reddy for the remake of Korean film ‘Miss Granny’.
It has already been confirmed that Samantha will be seen playing a septuagenarian in this mysterious comedy caper in which a old woman magically finds herself in the body of a 20 year old girl. Sources close to the team revealed that Nandini Reddy wants Samantha to appear in dual roles. Initially, they planned to cast another actress in the young girl’s role. But, as the makers are unable to find a perfect fit for the character, they now looking to cast Samantha in both roles.
As we await an official confirmation on this buzz, the pre production activities are in full swing. The regular shooting will commence shortly.
