Son of Kesava Rao, TRS leader and think-tank to TRS supremo KCR, allegedly attempted to grab a land at Banjara Hills but backed out at the last minute only for the fear of losing the B-form. Details as below.
Land of Women’s Cooperative Society, Road No. 12, Banjara Hills is under dispute and the case is pending with court for last 2 years. The land is in prime area and worth of multi-crore. The case is between Women’s Cooperative Society and Mannur Shaikh, who sold the land to K.R. Reddy with fake documents (as per the argument of Women’s Cooperative Society). While these two are fighting for the land, new litigant entered into the case.
As the case is pending with court no activity (buying/ selling/leasing) should be done on this land. However, last week, a 15-member gang brought in equipment to level the ground and they try to occupy the land. As per reports, these guys are men of Venkat Rao, son of TRS leader Kesava Rao. Police had to enter the scene after the complaint and they took this gang into custody for interrogation.
As per the reports, after the scene moved to police station, Kesava Rao and his son made several calls to the Banjara Hills police to ensure their names are not coming out. Obviously, at this crucial juncture, if names come out, they may not get B-form from the TRS party and that may put their political future at jeopardy.
