Opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy is gearing up the party to take on TDP government on Bauxite issue. Jagan, who has been running a campaign on special status now added Bauxite issue to his arsenal. The party is joining chorus with tribal people in its opposition to state government’s decision to divert about 3000 acres of Agency area to excavate the bauxite ore. In order to coordinate with the tribal people and organizations who are on war path on Bauxite, Jagan on Thursday appointed party’s Tribal Rights Committee with MLAs and party leaders. Also , the party is organizing a program on the conservation of Girijan Rights in Paderu on December 2, 2015. Party president Jagan himself will participate in the meeting. According to party general secretary Venumbaka Vijaysai Reddy, the Tribal Rights committee would work to intensify the party’s resistance to stall the Bauxite mining in the Agency area.
