Former PCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah got his ticket confirmed from Janagama constituency. Telangana Congress incharge Kuntia announced the news that Ponnala will be the candidate from Maha Kootami ( grand alliance) from Janagama.
PCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy and Ponnala Lakshmaiah met with Kodandaram at TJS Office in Nampally and had discussions for about 3 hours. It is known news that, Kodandaram has been insisting Congress on allotting Janagama seat to TJS. However, latest discussions of Ponnala and Congress bigwigs with Kodandaram had yielded results as Kodandaram agreed to give up on this seat.
Ponnala’s fans and his cadre is so happy to see their leader getting seat this time from Janagama. However we need to wait and see whether he will utilize this opportunity and win the seat or not. Because, as PCC chief he failed to lead his party into winning in 2014, and in addition, he himself lost election despite being PCC chief.
