Bollywood super star Salman Khan landed in yet another controversy. Case was filed on him for hoisting Pakistan flag in Punjab. Details are as below.
Salma is currently acting in the movie with the title ‘Bharat’. As part of the story, Salman Khan should hoist Pakistan flag in a scene. The makers of the unit planned to shoot this scene in Wagah Border. However, border security forces denied permission for shooting here. So, left with no choice, the makers of the movie erected set of this village in Punjab state and got all permissions to shoot here.
The scene was shot here and the locals who came in huge numbers to see the shooting were upset by seeing Salman Khan hoisting Pakistan flag and the villagers themselves complained to police on Salman Khan. Villagers came to the hotel where Salman Khan and unit are staying in large numbers to express their displeasure. However, the makers of the movie tried to explain the villagers that it is just a scene in the movie and when you watch total movie, you will understand the spirit of the scene and the movie.
However, villagers were not satisfied with the answers from the unit as they couldn’t digest hoisting of the flag of Pakistan in their village. Finally the unit had to cancel the shooting in this village and move back to Mumbai.
