Ruling party in Telangana state, TRS, got another shock day-after MP Konda Visweshwar Reddy’s resignation. The recent former MLA of TRS from Vikarabad segment Mr. Sanjeeva Rao on Wednesday said ‘Good Bye’ to TRS following discrimination against him in allocating ticket from his sitting segment.
The TRS party’s supremo KCR had announced Mr. Methuku Anand from Vikarabad as its cadidate against the sitting MLA Sanjeeva Rao and he waited for till the last moment of the deadline of nominations’ submission.
As there was no second option from the TRS, he went into depression and held series of meetings with his followers and on Wednesday announced his decision on resignation.
Mr. Sanjeeva Rao told media that Minister Patnam Mahender Reddy was behind the drama and based on his recommendations, the high command set him aside. “Mr. Mahender Reddy betrayed me. Now, I am supporting independent candidate from Vikarabad Mr. Chandrasekhar. I work for the defeat of Metuku Anand and TRS,” he added.
