Super talented director Krish walked out of the prestigious biopic Manikarnika featuring Kangana Ranaut in the lead role. The film landed into a bunch of controversies and finally the entire shoot has been wrapped up. Despite of the trailer bringing huge buzz, the film has been landing into the news for wrong reasons.
Federation of Western India Cine Employees slammed the makers for not clearing the dues of Rs 1.5 crores to the workers and junior artists. A complaint has been filed with Film and TV Producers Guild of India. The entire shoot of Manikarnika has been wrapped up in October but the dues are yet to be settled.
Manikarnika is the life story of Rani Laxmibhai and is directed by Krish, Kangana Ranaut. The film’s budget got heaped up due to various reasons and the release got delayed. Bankrolled by Zee Films, Manikarnika has been announced for Republic Day weekend release next year.
