The Telugu Desam Parliamentary Party (TDPP) meeting will be held in Delhi on Monday after which TDP National President and CM Chandrababu Naidu will hold a meeting of the anti-BJP parties to discuss future course of action. The TDPP meet coincides with Naidu’s visit to Delhi with a view to finalising the party stand on how to expose the Modi Government’s indifference to Andhra Pradesh state’s needs in the parliament.
The TDPP leaders are expected to raise issues like the Modi government’s unlawful withdrawal of funds that where already transferred to the AP government towards assistance to backward regions development. Besides this, the TDPP would discuss a host of other issues like the Centre’s discrimination against AP.
CBN is playing a lead role in bringing together anti-Modi parties at the national level and tomorrow’s meeting is going to be attended by top leaders from almost all the anti-BJP parties to underline their commitment to counter the Modi-Shah duo in 2019 elections. AICC president Rahul Gandhi will lead a team of Congress leaders to be present at this meeting. In addition to this, national leaders like former PM Deve Gowda, Mamata Bennerjee, Mayawati, Arvind Kejriwal and others will take part.
Naidu has personally invited most of these leaders to come and make the anti-BJP meet a success so that it will send a message to the BJP leadership. Naidu is also proposing before the allies the need for launching an immediate country-wide campaign in the form of rallies, protests and other programmes.
