A Mythri Movie Makers venture, Dear Comrade is billed as a youthful entertainer in which Vijay is going to be seen as a students leader who hails from a communist family. Rashmika Mandanna is paired opposite Vijay in this film. Reportedly, Dear Comrade is going to hit the screens for Summer next year. The makers are planning to release the film at the start of Summer when vacation starts for colleges.
Vijay garnered immense popularity among youngsters and his films are appealing well to family audience as well. So, the makers of Dear Comrade are planning to take advantage of Summer holidays when families and students flock to theatres.
