Coming to Profit loss details, the film has collected a distributor share of $2,896,637 which comes down to $2,646,637 ie, 18.80 Crores INR after deducting the expenses like VPF & Publicity. The film has got pre-release offers in the range of 30-35 Crores from various distributors on outright basis. But the producers have rejected those and released the film on their own on Advance basis through the leading distributor Prime Media. Now the producers have lost at least 11 Cores by releasing the film on their own instead of selling as it has collected nearly 19cr share against the offered price of 30 Cr. Even if you look at the overall gross figure, the film has fell behind Baahubali: The Beginning by a margin of 2.5 million which has released 2.5 years back. Considering factors like own release & highest tamil grosser the film can be called as a Below Average venture. But it would have been a big disaster if it was sold !
