Anil Ravipudi’s F2 emerged as a clean box office winner in USA among Sankranthi releases. NTR Kathanayakudu turned out to be a big flop and Vinaya Vidheya Rama is an outright disaster.
By the end of Sunday, F2 collected $ 870K including Friday premiers and emerged as a super hit. It is likely to hit the million dollar mark by Tuesday. After a good start with quarter million premiers, the film had a superb Saturday and good Sunday. As the film was sold for a reasonable price to overseas distributors, it is likely to be a profitable venture for all parties.
NTR Kathanayakudu, the first part of NTR biopic, couldn’t make an impact despite strong buzz and encouraging reviews. After a decent start on premiers day, the film faltered from first day and is struggling to touch the one million mark even after completing the first weekend. With a total gross of $ 825K , the film is going to be a loss venture in overseas.
Ram Charan’s VVR is a huge disaster as the first weekend gross is terribly low. The film collected a meagre $ 235K by the end of Sunday.
