Superstar Mahesh Babu is all set to return back to production after Srimanthudu. The actor’s production G Mahesh Babu Entertainment is joining hands with Sony Pictures International for an action thriller titled Major. Goodachari fame Shashikiran Tikka directs this prestigious film and young actor Adivi Sesh is the lead actor in Major. The film is based on the life story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who saved hundreds of lives in 26/11 attacks in Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai.
Major will be shot in Telugu, Hindi simultaneously and the regular shoot commences from summer this year. The film will be co-produced by Adivi Entertainment along with A+S Movies. The makers are in plans to release the film next year. Adivi Sesh himself penned the script of the film. Major marks Sony’s entry into Telugu cinema and GMB is foraying into Hindi market.
