Hyderabad: Former union minister Sarve Satyanarayana is openly opposing TPCC chief Uttamkumar Reddy and expects his defeat in Nalgonda Lok Sabha elections.
“Uttamkumar Reddy is dreaming of becoming central minister by bagging Nalgonda Lok Sabha seat. Reddy will definitely lose in the forthcoming elections and I’ll also contribute to his defeat. I’ll go to the Nalgonda public and explain them why such a person like Uttamkumar Reddy shouldn’t be elected. I’ll also highlight his failures to the voters. Uttamkumar Reddy is known for corruption practices as he sold party tickets for money. I further demand resignations of TPCC chief Uttamkumar Reddy and CLP leader on moral grounds as Congress lost bitterly in the recent Assembly elections in Telangana,” said Satyanarayana.
After Assembly elections held in December 2018, Sarve Satyanarayana on several occasions praised chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and this has irked Congress party. Subsequently in last January, Satyanarayanaa was suspended from party for revolting against Congress party and senior leaders. In one of the party meetings, Satyanarayana threw a water bottle at a senior leader. He was using abusive language against Uttamkumar Reddy and Congress affairs in-charge RC Khuntia. Considering all these into account, Congress suspended Satyanarayana as part of discipline action.
