The summer season started with a bang with Majili featuring Naga Chaitanya and Samantha in the lead roles. The film has been declared as the biggest hit in the career of Chaitanya and is expected to end up collecting Rs 40 crores in its final run.
Sai Tej who has been struggling for success bounced back with Chitralahari. The film that released last Friday is raking massive numbers all over. Nani’s Jersey trailer looks promising and generated positive buzz all over. The film is releasing this Friday and is expected to have a decent box-office run. Superstar Mahesh Babu will test his luck with Maharshi this May and is the only biggie during this season.
Suriya’s NGK, Vijay Devarakonda’s Dear Comrade, Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ Sita, Samantha’s O Baby, Nikhil’s Arjun Suravaram, Allu Sirish’ ABCD and many more films are lined up for summer release. Tollywood audience will have a feast this summer and we have to wait to see if this success streak continues.
