The TDP has set Mission 150+ assembly seats against the 88 simple majority. Till yesterday, the TDP leaders asserted their party will win 140 initially and then came down to 130. Now they have further come down. They are asserting that their party will win over 120 assembly seats and will form the government without outside support. The TDP is all set to win above 20 Lok Sabha seats to play a crucial role at the national level. The TDP got total support from the people who rejected the corruption and murder politics of Jaganmohan Reddy.
Obviously, TDP is rationalising its numbers in the face of rising doubts over rivals manipulation. National Spokesman Lanka Dinakar on Friday accused the Election Commission of its failures to ensure smooth conduct of the election in Andhra Pradesh which saw inordinate delays due to non-functioning and malfunctioning electronic voting machines.
Mr Dinakar asked why the Election Commission was afraid to give the IP addresses of those who applied for the form 7 deletion requests for lakhs of voters in AP. This showed that the EC is biased in favour of the YCP but the voters have given their verdict in favour of commitment, development and welfare.
