Talented director Harish Shankar after a long break turned busy with Valmiki which is currently under shoot. The film features Varun Tej and Atharvaa Murali in the lead roles and is the remake of Tamil blockbuster Jigarthandaa. The latest addition to the project is Pooja Hegde. Harish Shankar was keen on roping a debutant for the role of the heroine but he locked Pooja Hegde for the role.
She will be shooting for her part for 15 days and the actress apparently quoted Rs 2 crores for the film. The makers agreed to pay her the hefty amount. Varun Tej plays a gangster in this action drama and Devi Sri Prasad composes the music. 14 Reels Plus are the producers and the film releases later this year.
