There are three PK factors that are mostly talked about in AP elections. The foremost is ‘Pasupu Kumkuma’ welfare programme that was implemented by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Nearly 95 lakh women received Rs 10,000 each towards financial assistance just before the April 11 polling day. The TDP leaders everywhere are confident that this PK women factor has nullified anti-government feelings and greatly boosted winning chances of their party to form the government again.
On their part, the YCP leaders across the state are more depending on the magic of their party consultant Prashant Kishor than even the mass appeal of Jaganmohan Reddy and YSR family. The opposition leaders are certain about their party victory as their PK factor has effectively countered all the election strategies of Chandrababu Naidu. With this trust, YCP leaders are challenging ruling party leaders for betting.
Meanwhile, Jana Sena leaders are expecting massive support from youth, intellectuals and poorer sections to their leader Pawan Kalyan. They consider their PK factor that most powerful of the three PKs. Anxiety gripped AP people as to which of these 3 PKs will finally have greater impact as results come out on May 23 counting day.
