Superstar Mahesh Babu’s recent big-budget outing Maharshi has been doing stunning business all over. The film opened with negative reviews but the film remained super strong across the Telugu states over the weekend. Despite of releasing in 2000 screens across the world, there has been huge scarcity for tickets. The Monday pre-sales have been satisfying and Maharshi is expected to have a strong first Monday at the box-office.

The film has been sold for record prices and most buyers are expected to end up recovering their investment by the end of second week. Vamshi Paidipally directed Maharshi and the theme of weekend farming and emotional message about farmers received top class response. Pooja Hegde is the heroine and Allari Naresh played a crucial role. Maharshi is produced by Dil Raju, PVP and Ashwini Dutt.
