There was considerable debate in the TDP on the issue of Chandrababu Naidu not taking up the role of AP Opposition leader. Senior leaders like Gorantla Bucchaiah Chowdary insisted on Naidu taking up this role as the party needs a strong leader to fight back against the ruling YCP. Truly speaking, the TDP leaders are of the general view that their party will face many crisis situations in the coming days because of YCP, BJP, etc.
Naidu himself has stated that their cadres should be prepared to overcome many more hardships in future and the party will be with them in these difficult times. Naidu is eventually elected TDP Legislature Party to effectively highlight people’s issues and problems in the Assembly and outside.
The TDP is saying that already people are questioning the statements of CM-elect Jaganmohan Reddy on special status and BJP huge majority in Lok Sabha. Because of his experience, Chandrababu would be able to expose the YCP’s mistakes thoroughly.
