Jagan took oath as chief minister of Andhra Pradesh today amidst cheers of his fans and people. After taking oath, he spoke about the implementation of some of the schemes and on how his future governance would be. While doing so, he gave a stern warning to some section of media.
Jagan told, if some section of media, that is known to support Chandrababu Naidu, tries to do negative campaign on any of the government schemes, his government will take serious legal action against them. In fact, this stern warning on Day-1 itself, came as a shocker to common people, though it brought cheers to the fans of Jagan. At the same time it is to be noted that, some section of media behaved as if they are pamphlets of Telugu desam party in last 5 years, which needs to be condemned. But, Jagan, being chief minister, giving warning to media is not be welcomed. In fact his own Sakshi channel also did lot of anti campaigning on various schemes of previous government.
We will have to wait and see if these media houses will keep their mouth shut after Jagan’s warnings or they continue to highlight any wrongdoings of the government.
