The biggest challenge before CM Jaganmohan Reddy is the formation of his Cabinet to the satisfaction of different castes and communities. He will have no choice but to give majority ministerial berths to his caste. It’s because there are nearly 52 MLAs belonging to the Reddy caste.
Political analysts say that the major challenge to Jaganmohan Reddy will be in accommodating the SC, ST, BC and Minorities leaders into his ministry. This time, the YCP got considerable support from the BCs as well. This was the reason why the ruling party got 151 out of the total 175 MLA seats.
There’s also speculation that Jaganmohan Reddy would face lot of pressure because of caste groups. Regional aspirations should have to be balanced. Most of the 52 Reddy MLAs are hailing from Rayalaseema region. Then, there are YSR family loyalists who have to be taken care of.
