Governor ESL Narasimhan issued notification for the Andhra Pradesh Assembly brief session from June 12. It will be held for three to four days. This is the first session being held after the recent general election in which YCP won 151 seats, TDP 23 and Jana Sena 1. The rival parties are making strategies for the first session.
CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy is busy making up his Cabinet ministry by ensuring a balance of castes and communities. Already, there are murmurs in political circles only his caste is getting priority whether in the nominated posts or appointments of bureaucrats.
Meanwhile, TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu has called for the TDP Legislature Party meeting on June 11. He has discussed how to motivate the party cadres and counter the attacks from the ruling party leaders. He told the party leaders that their party would give some time to the ruling YCP to perform on the promises it made to the people and how it would go about implementing them. At the same time, the ruling party’s misdeeds at the field level should be countered effectively.
