Bollywood diva Shraddha Kapoor is the leading lady in Prabhas’ upcoming multi-core actioner Saaho. Director Sujeeth has penned a meaty and substantial character for Shraddha in this film and she will be seen in most of the action sequences along with Prabhas. Reportedly, she is essaying the role of a tough cop who chances upon Prabhas at a crucial juncture in the narrative.
It is learnt that Shraddha Kapoor has refused to use body doubles in breathtaking Sion episodes in Saaho. As the film is fully packed with lot of chase episodes, aerial scenes and fight sequences, Shraddha’s role needed to perform risky stunts. When the makers have suggested body double for Shraddha in these episodes, she simply rejected and did most of the scenes on her own. She took extensive training for these episodes and pulled off them with perfection.
Director Sujeeth and his team lauded the efforts of Shraddha Kapoor. The making videos and the recently released trailer have made it clear that Shraddha Kapoor will have a very strong role in the film.
