The issue of CRDA giving notice to demolish residence of Chandrababu Naidu at Undavalli is blowing out of proportions. The Telugu Desam Party has taken serious view of this and decided to agitate against this high-handed attitude of the Jagan Reddy government. Former Minister and TDP MLA K. Atchannaidu mounted a strong attack on the YCP. He said that CM Jaganmohan Reddy is obviously inexperienced and unaware of the laws governing the state and the country.
Atchannaidu was referring to the demolition notices. How can the CRDA unilaterally act against some structures without checking the facts of the case? The officials are just obeying the dictates of the CM without clarifying to him about the ground level situation. Chandrababu Naidu’s residence was built over 10 years ago when there was the YSR government. The owner of the building got all sanctions and permission from the village panchayat and the other constitutional bodies required.
For Naidu’s residential building, the owner paid Rs. 18 lakh towards NALA tax for converting agricultural land to non-agricultural land. The No Objection Certificates were taken from different departments for all the constructions within the building premises. Atchannaidu said that Jagan’s actions were borne out of sheer inexperience and an attitude to harass former CM Chandrababu Naidu.
