CM Jaganmohan Reddy addressed an Orientation meeting for his party MLAs at the Committee Hall of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly. He told his MLAs to come prepared to make logical, reasonable and strong arguments in the House. Jagan said that he wanted to give a chance to give enough opportunity to the Opposition TDP to raise and debate issues. Otherwise, what is difference between YCP and TDP? Such positive spirit was not displayed in the previous regime. However, Jagan told his MLAs to let Chandrababu Naidu speak but be prepared to counter him effectively.
Jagan also cautioned that Naidu had the habit of telling lies and producing fictitious documents to divert the ruling party in the House. He recalled an incident during YSR regime when Naidu used such a trick on one occasion. Training programme was held as nearly 70 MLAs are new to the Assembly.
Jagan asked the MLAs to make it a point to have good attendance in the Assembly. He once again clarified that he would not do anything to split MLAs and deprive TDP of its opposition status.
