As we speak about this, a video is going viral on Facebook where a foreigner behind a bill counter at what seemed like a takeaway restaurant is seen welcoming his Telugu guests in sweet Telugu only. As he greeted a couple of Telugu folks they have gone speechless and that video is right now catching virally on social media site.
It was aired on popular news channel TV5 that the incident took place with Telugu people who went to the United Kingdom to catch the Worldcup matches where they encountered this guy from New Zealand. That’s actually false. His name is Isaac Richards and he’s from West Yellowstone, Montana, USA, and works at an ice cream parlour over there.
Talking about his Telugu prowess, Isaac said, “I’ve been to Andhra Pradesh in 2016 and spent a couple of years there, including a year at Visakhapatnam and another year at Vijayawada. I loved Telugu language and would like to do more videos in Telugu about various stuff related to USA and India in the coming days”. As his Facebook video clocked more than 120K views, he’s said to have got this idea of making Telugu videos.
Celebrities like Lakshmi Manchu have grown fond of this guy as shared via Twitter, “His Telugu is better than mine. So heartwarming to see our language so loved”. Actor Brahmaji who plays character artist roles also admired him, tweeting, “Nee dumpa tega.. yentha baga maatladuthunnav”.
