Telugu media circles are abuzz with the news that Tollywood actor NTR is going to be announced as brand ambassador for AP tourism. The reports claimed that Andhra Pradesh minister Kodali Nani, a close friend of NTR, suggested his name to the Chief Minister and latter has immediately agreed for his proposal. Though there is no official word on this news, it has become a talking point in social media.
When Telugu360 contacted close sources to NTR to find out the authenticity of this buzz, the news has been scotched as baseless rumour. It has been clarified that there is no such proposal to rope in NTR as brand ambassador for AP. It is a known fact that Kodali Nani and NTR maintain a close rapport and the former has produced a film with him a few years ago.
As Kodali Nani is minister in YS Jagan’s cabinet, the news is believed to be true. But, close sources revealed that NTR is completely staying away from politics and concentrating only on his movies. It is said that NTR and Nani are not maintaining close affinity since many days. Also, it is learnt that NTR is not in talking terms with his father in law Narne Srinivas who joined YSRCP a few months ago.
