Earlier there were reports that top actress Kajal Aggarwal is venturing into production with a Telugu film that will be directed by Prashant Varma. After working with him in Awe, Kajal loved a script narrated by the young director and decided to come on to the board as the leading lady and as one of the producers. But the actress now felt that she is too busy with projects and cannot handle the production responsibilities.

Kajal will play the lead role in this women-centric film that will roll during the end of this year. Prashant and his team are in talks with a couple of top producers and an announcement would be made once things are final. As of now, Kajal wishes to focus on films and she has her dairy full till the end of this year.
