One of the most negative thing that is heard about Saaho in recent times is director Sujith Reddy comparing himself to legendary Rajamouli. This is because he is carving a film with Prabhas soon after the Baahubali franchise. As many directors who are waiting for the Baahubali star are actually big ones, definitely a one-film old filmmaker like Sujith raises all the eyebrows.
Though recently Sujith confirmed that he neither sees himself as another Rajamouli though he made a film of a bigger scale, as Saaho is on par with Baahubali in terms of budget, there are reports everywhere that he compared himself with Jakkanna. Many trolls could be seen at work, making fun of Sujith on social media regarding this comparison. The director, however, says it is a cooked up story.
“I’ve never made such a comment. How come I could say that when I made just one film other than Saaho in my career. My mother got upset after reading such stories in papers and websites. She scolded me for that. That’s the reason why I dont’ interact with media and want my work to speak for myself”, said Sujith.
