Hero Varun Tej is looking forward to consolidating his position as a dependable hero after he picked up remake film Jigarthanda, where he is playing a role with lots of negative shades. Directed by Harish Shankar, the film ‘Valmiki’ has already wrapped the shooting formalities and focusing on September 20th release.
As the film’s other hero Atharvaa plays the role of a wannabe filmmaker in the movie, Harish Shankar is making sure that some shots will be canned with real film celebs. Like how we have seen Puri Jagan in Ye Maya Chesave, now Sukumar took part in the shoot of a similar cameo for the film.
At the same time, hero Nithin is said to have done another cameo in the film, where he will be acting in a sequel of Gabbar Singh. A couple of other heroes and two heroines are also likely to appear in Valmiki in these cameo roles.
The success of this film is very crucial for both Varun Tej and Harish Shankar, because Varun has no big solo hit than F2, while Harish’s last outing DJ Duvvada Jagannadham is panned by critics though it minted money at the box office.
