Director Surender Reddy is highly confident on his upcoming film SyeRaa which has Megastar Chiranjeevi playing the titular role. In his recent interaction with a leading Telugu news paper, the Dhruva director shared his experience of working on this prestigious and big budget film which is coming from the stables of Ram Charan’s Konidela Productions banner.
Surender Reddy said it was a dream coming true for him to call shots for a film with two Megastars of Indian cinema. He said the team did a profound research to know the history of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy before taking the film on to sets. He revealed that there are many goosebump-inducing war scenes in this period film which traces the unknown journey of the brave and heroic freedom fighter. He adds that the breathtaking trailer which is going to be out soon will augment the expectations to the next level in audience.
Talking about production and budget, Suri said Ram Charan gave him full freedom and didn’t comprise at any point and spent lavishly for war episodes. On working experience with Chiru, he said it has been a memorable journey for him throughout the shooting phase. He praised Chriu’s hardworking nature and his dedication towards the profession. He also revealed that Chiru pulled off many stunt sequences without any body double and added that the underwater fight episode will be a major highlight for the film.
Revealing about the biggest compliment in this journey, Surender Reddy said Chiranjeevi hugged him after watching the final rushes of film.
