It is becoming clear now that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao fixed the agenda and made all the decisions at the meeting with AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy and AP officials. He made Jagan agree for taking up Godavari-Krishna interlinking with joint funds. Jagan has also agreed for providing training to 4,000 new police recruits of Telangana in Andhra Pradesh. KCR told Jagan that they are taking 18,000 police all at once. If training is given to them immediately, they would join duties to serve Telangana better.
KCR has obviously not offered to compensate Andhra over its properties in Hyderabad. He did not even talk about the division of schedule 9 and 10 institutions as per Reorganisation Act. The CMs meeting obviously went one-way which is to approve KCR’s plans. There are no reports of what Jagan has proposed on behalf of Andhra and what he has bargained for the benefit of Andhra people.
Alarmingly, not even one out of the total 5 Deputy Chief Ministers of Andhra accompanied Jagan. There is not even a single Minister. Only Reddy leaders were there. They included obviously TTD Chairman cum Jagan Uncle SV Subba Reddy, MPs Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and Peddireddy Mithun Reddy. All-Reddy delegation. Analysts are asking whether Jagan meet with KCR was purely for his personal and political interests rather than for benefits to Andhra.
