Tamil star Vijay’s highly anticipated film Bigil is dubbed into Telugu as Whistle. The Telugu trailer is out now and it promises a wholesome treat for audience as Vijay shines in dual roles : a football coach nicknamed Whistle and an aged mafia don Rajappa.
The two and half minutes trailer is packed with plenty of wow moments that will leave fans of Vijay hankering for more. It is Vijay’s one man show from the onset as he effortlessly juggles two contrasting roles with his trademark mannerisms and inimitable punchlines. The sports-action drama deals with the emotional journey of women’s football team coached by Vijay. The rustic mafia gangster role will offer a treat to mass audience for sure. The visuals are grand and AR Rahman’s pulsating score elevate the action episodes. Nayanatara is paired with Vijay in this film.
Director Atlee seems to have once again made a full length commercial pot boiler with a lot of whistle-worthy scenes that will appeal to mass audience. All in all, Whistle trailer showcases Vijay as an all round performer in dual shades. AGS Entertainment banner has bankrolled the film on a whopping budget and Telugu producer Mahesh Koneru has bagged the rights in both Telugu states.
