Actor turned producer Bandla Ganesh on Wednesday was detained by Hyderabad police in two different cases filed against him. Contrary to media reports, he was not arrested. Police questioned him in a case filed in Jubilee Hills police station.
On October 5, producer and politician PVP had filed a case against Bandla and his aides for threatening him. On Wednesday, Jubilee Hills police Bandla detained him for questioning.
Also, a police team from Kadapa district sought the Hyderabad city police’s help in executing a Non-Bailable Warrant issued by a local court. He will be taken to the Kadapa court on Thursday. Later, Bandla also tweeted that he was not arrested by the police.
PVP is said to have financed Bandla’s production ‘Temper’ in 2015. According to PVP, Bandla owes him Rs 7 crore.
