Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan made a scathing attack on the functioning of the Andhra Pradesh Police with regard to social media abuses. He asked why the police didn’t take any action on the complaint given by a girl activist. Ananta Swathi was being harassed in social media in the name of her caste and family but the police are sitting as silent spectators. That is shameful. The same police officers are taking immediate action the moment any ruling party leader gives such complaint. They are discovering proofs in no time and filing cases against the opposition activists. They are going long distances to harass victims and make arrests.

Senani wondered how the police ignore the complaint of a girl victim. He told the Jana Sainiks from Ongole about their urgent duty to provide confidence to Ananta Swathi and save her from the social media mafia. Pawan said that very soon, more stringent laws are coming wherein any slightest abuse will attract severe punishment.
