Ex Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao is known for his open bias along his community and religious lines. But, in respect of the functioning of CMOs, he seems to be unbiased. Maybe it is because that the successive Andhra Chief Ministers belong to communities other than his.
Prior to 2019 election, IYR targetted and mobilised his community intellectuals against the then CM Chandrababu Naidu. Then, he strongly supported Jaganmohan Reddy at that time. Now, the Ex CS is suddenly very vexed with Jagan style. He came out with all his disappointment against Jagan only after his fellow community person LV Subrahmanyam is unceremoniously stripped of CS post. Promptly responding, IYR posted his strong message on Facebook saying that the manner in which LV is transferred is unfortunate and avoidable. But IYR should realise that the manner in which he supported Jagan and called Andhra Capital Amaravati as ‘Bhramaravati’ was unfortunate and avoidable. Very unfortunately, IYR says that the CMOs are becoming institutions with all powers and no responsibility. Did IYR act responsibly with regard to Amaravati? Did he not support Jagan in elections so irresponsibly? The problem with pseudo intellectuals is that they are the only ones behaving responsibly in society.
