The ongoing trend says that several top Bollywood actors and producers are in a hunt for South Indian directors for their upcoming projects. Though there are a bunch of talented directors in Hindi, most of them are looking for Telugu, Tamil content and South directors to helm the projects.

Arjun Reddy’s super success in Bollywood as Kabir Singh made several filmmakers look towards South. Movies like Vikram Vedha, F2, Yevadu, Jersey, RX 100 will soon be made in Hindi. After Sandeep Vanga cemented his position in Hindi, Gowtam Tinnanuri bagged an opportunity to direct Jersey in Hindi with Shahid Kapoor. Atlee is in talks with Shah Rukh Khan for an action thriller. Filmmakers like Karan Johar and Boney Kapoor are in a constant hunt for South directors and are offering interesting packages for them. On the whole, Bollywood cinema kept a keen watch on South cinema, especially on Telugu films, directors.
