There’s is a massive wave of support from all sections of society to the Chattanpalli encounter. Disha parents and sister said that justice was done to Disha now. Within nine days of Disha rape and murder, the accused persons were put to encounter deaths. Disha parents welcomed the police action of doing justice within a short time.
The encountered persons were the main accused Mohammad Arif, Chintakunta Chennakesavulu, Jollu vNaveen and Jollu Shiva. The public are saying that with this encounter, no gangster would dare to commit such heinous crimes. Disha sister said that they thought the accused would be hanged but it was good that they were killed.
Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Sajjanar confirmed that the encounter took place at Chattanpalli on ORR between 3 am and 6 am. CPI leader Narayana welcomed the encounter killings as a good thing to be done because the accused rightly deserved this.
