Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has offered to help the rain ravaged Chennai city on Sunday. The chief minister has called the State Chief Secretary Rajeev Sharma, who in turned briefed KCR on the devastation caused due to the heavy rains lashing the Tamilnadu state capital for the last couple of days. Directing the chief secretary, KCR to talk to his counter part in Tamilnadu, and to extend whatever help and cooperation that state is in need.
Following this, Rajeev Sharma has called up the Tamilanadu Chief Secretary Gnyana Desikan, and conveyed him the intention of the KCR to extend whatever help that the Tamilnadu needs in its hour of distress. In turn, the Tamilnadu chief secretary, while thanking the good will gesture of Telangana said, that he would come back, after consulting the State Chief Minister J Jayalalitha.
