Hyderabad: The Telangana state government continue to take light when it comes to implementing the directions of the courts. Though the State High Court had several times made adverse remarks on different issues on different counts, there seems no affect, and this time, things have gone beyond its hands. And, following non-execution of its order, the State High Court for the first time has taken a stringent action handing over a month’s jail term to the Ranga Reddy District Collector and Magistrate, Raghunandan. The high court’s decision has come when the senior civil servant had failed to give effect to its orders and evict those occupying houses meant for weaker sections at Suraram Colony, on the out skirts of Hyderabad, falling under the Ranga Reddy district. The official was also slapped with a fine of Rs 2,000, besides jail term. Shocked over the development now the Telangana state government is went into a huddle and sought for an appeal before a special bench of the court.
