After 2020 ended up with restrictions due to coronavirus, all the young and veteran actors of Telugu cinema changed plans and announced back to back films. All the pending films too announced their release dates and the audience would have a chance to witness a remarkable release every Friday. Some of the big films are heading for a clash but one among them would have to walk out of the race to avoid the clash and make decent money.

2021 would be quite challenging for several directors as they would not get ample time to complete the post-production work. There are already speculations that movies like Pushpa may fail to hit the deadline if there is any delay in the shoot. Sukumar too has no track record of completing the shoot on time. Allu Arjun has been mounting pressure not to miss the announced date. If Pushpa fails to release as per the plan, the film may not get a comfortable release date as the release chart is full till the end of October.

Several filmmakers are under extreme pressure and are working round the clock to wrap up the shoot and the post-production work on time. The recent releases too collected decent money and the audience are rushing to theatres which is a positive energy for all the filmmakers. 2021 will be a different year to remember for Telugu cinema.
