Siva Sena to welcome BJP Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh into party, in its bid to expand its base in Hyderabad, to take on MIM on its home turf by fielding its candidates in ensuing GHMC elections.
The Maharasthra born Siva Sena is set its eyes to take on All India Majilis-e-Ittehadual Muslimeen, or prominently known as MIM on its home turf in Hyderabad. For this, the Sivasena has thrown open its doors to BJP’s Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh, and few others from that party, as well as from Congress and TDP. According to sources, Raja Singh too has sought for an appointment with the Siva Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray, and he is expected to meet him in next couple of days. The party has already agreed to admit the BJP MLA, following the BJP contemplating to take disciplinary action against Raja Singh, for his reported remarks of “Kill or be killed to protect cows”, against the back drop of openly opposing a beef festival planned by a handful of students of Osmania University in Hyderabad on December 10.
Siva Sena party sources pointed out there would be “Quite a surprising developments in the coming days”, and we are ready to welcome a leader like Raja Singh, whose core objective in opposing the so-called beef festival is very much in line with the Siva Sena agenda of, protection and self respect of Hindus in their own country.
When asked what are the surprising developments, one party leaders said, “Wait and See, there would be more to join in Siva Sena, that would change equations in the ensuing civic polls for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).”
This is clearly an indication that the Siva Sena, though an alliances partner of the BJP lead National Democratic Alliance (NDA), it is all set to expand its base in Hyderabad, to fight with the MIM on its home front. The Siva Sena game plan is to pay back MIM in the same coin. That, it considers MIM had made gains by polarizing votes in Maharashtra, and now, it is the same plan with which the Siva Sena wanted to take on the MIM.
