With a series of postponements, the long weekends of Vinayaka Chavithi and Gandhi Jayanthi are wasted in Tollywood. With a bunch of dubbed films and Ram’s Skanda, these weekends witnessed no prominent releases. Diwali weekend is also an important one and there are no proper Telugu films releasing over the weekend. Salman Khan’s Tiger 3, Karthi’s Japan and Lawrence’s Jigar Thanda 2 are the dubbed films releasing in Telugu states.
Vaishnav Tej’s Adikeshava was initially planned for release and the makers pushed the release to November 24th considering the World Cup fever. Ram Gopal Varma’s Vyooham was announced for November 10th release but the release is on hold because of the censor issues. The film is now referred to the Revision Committee. Several other films are planned for release on November 10th but are pushed. One more holiday weekend is wasted for Tollywood in 2023.
