YSRCP is mulling over to move no-confidence motion against Assembly speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao.
The Legislature party meeting of the YSRC, held immediately after the boycott of the House on Monday morning, is said to have favored the no-confidence motion against the speaker protesting the latter’s refusal to allow debate on the call money and sex racket and to revoke MLA Roja’s suspension.
The meeting is said to have expressed dissatisfaction over the way the house was being run by the speaker. Jagan wanted thorough debate on the Call Money because none of his MLAs had got the chance to speak in the House on the subject. He was alone given an opportunity to speak . Referring to his speech he said some important members from the Opposition wanted to speak and they should all get the chance.
So, the party thinks the best way to attack the government and the partisan attitude of the chair is to move the no-confidence motion- is the view of the party. The move is bound to fizzle out as the party’s has no numbers to get the motion adopted in the House.
But, this is a political strategy to hijack the house to the subjects the Opposition party wants to raise and attack the government.
