Superstar Rajinikanth commenced shooting for the sequel to his science fiction thriller Robot which is titled Robot 2.0. The first schedule is happening in Chennai where some key scenes featuring Rajinikanth are being canned. Amy Jackson will play the robot and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar will be seen in a crucial role in the film.
On the other hand, Rajinikanth’s forthcoming gangster drama Kabali is likely to wrap up its shoot very soon. It is believed that Rajinikanth will juggle between these two projects for a couple of months. Kabali team is shooting in Goa at present and the makers are planning to release the film for Summer. Rajinikanth will join Kabali shoot soon after completing the first schedule of Robot 2.0.
Kabali is being directed by Ranjith Pa and Radhika Apte is the female lead in the film.
