A bunch of films released on the eve of Dasara in Tollywood. Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan released on Thursday and the first day numbers are decent across the Telugu states. The mixed talk along with the new releases impacted the second day numbers of Vettaiyan. Gopichand and Srinu Vaitla teamed up for Viswam and the film released yesterday. The film suffered poor openings while the morning shows were disrupted across Andhra region because of the last minute financial hurdles. The film received poor response and the opening numbers are below par for the combo of Srinu Vaitla and Gopichand.

Sudheer Babu’s Ma Nanna Superhero released yesterday and the emotional entertainer too opened on a poor note. The footfalls are quite minimal and the film is struggling badly during the Dasara holiday season. The opening numbers are shockingly low for any Sudheer Babu’s films in the recent times. Dil Raju’s film Janaka Aithe Ganaka released with evening premieres. The word of mouth is decent but the premiere numbers too are not great. NTR’s film Devara has seen a good improvement with the evening and the night shows. As per the predictions, Devara is expected to have a super strong weekend all over. All the other films may suffer badly irrespective of the holiday season.
