Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has announced that Amaravati’s rebuilding marks a historic moment for Andhra Pradesh. He reminded everyone that Ramoji Rao first suggested naming the state capital after the city of gods, Amaravati.
The government has restarted construction, ending what Naidu called a period of destruction in the state. He promised that top educational institutions, hotels, and hospitals will soon come to Amaravati. The CRDA Project Office work has resumed at Lingayapalem-Uddandarayunipalem, with a budget of 160 crore for a 7-story office building. Naidu performed a puja at the building site to mark this new beginning.
Chandrababu Naidu shared ambitious development plans for Amaravati, aiming to make it as beautiful as heaven. He criticized opposition claims about flood risks and promised that Amaravati will become a self-sustaining economic project. The city is planned as a green energy hub with advanced technology. Naidu even mentioned the possibility of a bullet train connecting Amaravati, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru by 2027.
The AP Chief Minister acknowledged challenges, including a 5-year delay that increased costs by 7,000 crores. However, he remained optimistic, focusing on environmental protection in Amaravati and aiming to make Andhra Pradesh the number one state in India. Naidu introduced his vision for “Golden Andhra 2047” and called for every household to have an entrepreneur.
Throughout his speech, Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the government’s commitment to rebuilding the state and making Amaravati a world-class capital. He praised the farmers and women of Amaravati for their support and resilience during challenging times, highlighting their crucial role in the capital’s development.
The renewed focus on Amaravati’s development, along with addressing concerns and setting ambitious goals, shows the government’s determination to create a prosperous future for Andhra Pradesh with Amaravati at its center.
