On Saturday night, Cyberabad SOT police raided a farmhouse in Janwada, Hyderabad, after receiving complaints about loud noise. The party took place at Raj Pakala’s farmhouse in Reserve Colony, Janwada. Pakala, brother-in-law of BRS working president KT Rama Rao, hosted the event.
During the raid, police conducted drug tests on 24 people attending the party. One person, identified as Vijay Madduri, tested positive for cocaine. The police also seized foreign liquor, which was found without proper permits. A case has been filed against the individual who tested positive.
Several media channels, including Big TV, reported that KT Rama Rao’s wife, Shailima, was among the attendees. Police were alerted by locals who reported excessive noise from the party, prompting the raid. The involvement of high-profile guests has sparked political interest, as some channels suggest Shailima’s presence.
Authorities are examining if the event involved more than just alcohol. They suspect illegal drugs may have been circulated among guests. Although only Vijay Madduri tested positive, police may investigate other attendees further.
While hosting a private party at a farmhouse is not against the law, serving unlicensed foreign liquor and involvement with illegal substances can lead to serious consequences. The presence of drugs has raised questions about potential drug distribution at the event, which Telangana police are now investigating.
